Rov’s resilient and dedicated nature is one that inspires. With an easy-going and jovial personality, Rov is always making people laugh and leaving an impression. From his many years of experience, Rov possesses a wealth of knowledge that he loves sharing with others. He enjoys being the person that people can call upon for questions or friendly advice.

More About Rov

He believes that everybody has to start somewhere, just like he did. And if he pays it forward, the gift will keep on giving, helping entrepreneurs and go-getters all around.

Background:
With a passion for design and an eye for creativity, Rov has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. It all began in high-school, where he signed up for a woodworking class and focused his time on learning the crafts of woodwork. He later moved on to carpentry, where he excelled in making cabinetry and furniture pieces for his parents. Rov found comfort and peace in the art of craftsmanship and put his best effort into all of his work.

Although Rov enjoyed the art of woodwork and carpentry, he had a vision to build something bigger, like a house; something for his family to live in and enjoy together. In 1989, Rov worked alongside a family member, who owned and operated a framing company, where he learnt the deeper foundations of building homes from the ground up.

Shortly after, Rov and his close friend started a home construction business where they built and flipped homes together part-time. They both enjoyed working together and still remain very close to this day. In 2007, Rov decided to branch off on his own to create something more full-time; Rayn Properties was born. After a few years in the industry, Rov’s hard work paid off, making Rayn a reputable company specializing in luxury custom homes.

Arjin Dosanjh

Arjin is the “behind the scenes” glue that keeps everything intact. In his managerial role, Arjin finds innovative ways to improve business workflow and with his meticulous habits and eye for precision helps the company achieve flawless results. Arjin recently moved into project management, overseeing large renovation projects as well as handling certain stages of custom builds.

More About Arjin

He enjoys working with and learning from his dad. Together they are two like-minded individuals who possess a diverse range of skills, which are both integral to the success of the company. Arjin’s endless sarcasm and witty nature creates a fun and easygoing work atmosphere, and leaves Rov stumped for comebacks!

Background:
Throughout Arjin’s childhood and teenage years, he grew up around his dad [Rov] working in the building industry. Additionally, he watched his parents spend a lot of time building and flipping houses. Naturally, Arjin became intrigued with the process and wanted to learn more. He would ask his dad numerous questions on the steps and processes of home building as well as the backend of operations, showing curiousness in the financial, fundamental and investment side of operating a business.

Following high-school, Arjin decided to take that curiosity and turn it into a degree. He attended the University of Victoria, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in the Business of Commerce program, where he learned the deeper foundations of business operations and becoming an entrepreneur.

Following University, Arjin gained a few years of work experience and decided to put his knowledge to practice at Rayn Properties, coming on as a Manager to understand the backend of a company, which involved administration and financial duties. Arjin discovered he deeply cared about preserving what his dad spent years building, and wanted to add to that achievement. Currently, Arjin has also moved into project management, taking on large renovations as well as handling certain stages of custom home builds. With a willingness to learn, Arjin’s role with the company is continuously growing.
